Back to things

My arms are tired. My legs are weak. My mouth is crying for some sweet water to nurish it. Sounds like a good day to me.
This week at camp has been all about training ourselves to be ready when the campers come. This come through traditional lectures about camp policies and procedures, the safety procedures of the ropes course, learing how to jet ski, playing paintball with guys in my covenant, playing blazer tag after eating at GattiTown, and the list goes on. For me, this week has been about those things, but also about getting back to myself. I am not ashamed of what my past has been like, because you have to approach life differently when you are buckling down and keeping your hands to the plow. It has just been a blessing to return to some type of normal morning routine that includes a work out (nothing special just sit-ups, push ups and pull ups), some time to soak in the Bible, and other influencial texts like Pensees, the Art of War, and the like. It is good to be back in the groove of things.
In all things, praise God.
